The organization

The organization originated in the 1960s with the goal of establishing an air transport, missionary and humanitarian service in the Amazon jungle in Peru. Activities began in 1971, and for the past 45 years, Wings of Hope has supported the development of remote indigenous communities in the Atalaya region and rural communities in the Andes and the coast.

Since the year 2000, with the participation of the local population, we have carried out reliable and permanent drinking water supply projects. For these Peruvians, access to water is the most effective way to fight poverty. It is the gateway to progress.
