This village is about 15 hours’ drive from Lima and is located at an altitude of 2,486 m in the Ayacucho region of the Andes. There are currently 69 families (310 inhabitants) who make a living from agriculture and a small farm. It is these small peasant communities that feed Peru, hence the priority we give them.
The population consumes surface water, irrigation canal or small stream. The proposed gravity water supply project involves capturing water from a spring at the top of the village at 4490 m. Each house will have its cement washbasin from where the water will flow for the joy of all.
